Flower photography is the most rewarding of all the forms of nature photography. With a minimum requirements one can get excellent results.

Minimum equipment required for flower photography:

1. SLR Camera
2. Normal/35-70 zoom lens
3. Close-up lens kit

Additional Equipment:

1. Micro lens
2. Extension tubes
3. Lens reversal ring
4. Tripod stand

Sophisticated Equipment:

1. Ring flash
2. Bellows unit

While shooting flowers take care of following points:

• Try to take photos in natural environment. Avoid studios.
• Do not pluck the plant or flower.
• Try to get closer.
• Give attention to the composition.
• Use a dark colored background for light coloured flower whenever possible.
